10/3/2006 - Neutrality and banning
As there seems to be some confusion about our claim of having a "neutral host," we would like to point out that since the end of August we have not played on a LAN, and have distanced ourselves from the server by many hundreds of miles. Therefore, our claim of having a "neutral host" is legitimate, as it is as neutral as a server can be when the geographical locations of various players are unpredictable.
With this change, however, we have encountered certain technological challenges involving banning disruptive players. We offer our apologies to those whom we have inadvertently banned through our new system. Please bear with us as we resolve these issues.
